Are the real estate classes approved for credit?

Our courses are approved whenever possible with the appropriate state or certifying agency or association. Each course description will give you detail on this important question.
Can I take more than 40 hours to complete the 40 Hours Sales Person Course?
Answer: Yes! While each of our online courses requires a minimum amount of time spent on the course, you can complete that time when it’s convenient for you within 6 months. You also have the ability to purchase an extension as well. This is one of the biggest advantages of our online real estate courses versus an in person class. You can take the course while still working full-time.
Can more than one person take an online class at a time?
Answer: No. The course software requires active participation throughout the course and is designed for single users. Only the student who has enrolled in and paid for the course can receive credit for it. It’s just like a classroom course; everyone must enroll separately and do the work.
Can the courses be accessed from any computer? Are they available on other devices?
Answer: Yes. You can use the course on any computer or mobile device that has access to the internet. Depending on the device you are using, it may be necessary to first download a verified app such at Puffin or Photon Flash. Find out more.
Does it matter to employing brokers or real estate companies what school I attend?
Answer: At Real Estate Leadership Academy, we offer an on-line course that uses the Fluency & Mastery Method which simply means you will actually learn the material. (See the video on our home page!) The Brokers we speak to are very interested in students that know the material and will therefore do a quality job with fewer problems. These agents are more likely to be successful in sales. We are proud of that quality orientation!
Furthermore, our school coordinator, Mark Baker, was asked by the leading publisher of the book “Michigan Real Estate: Principles and Practices” to review the most recent edition that came out in 2015. Mr. Baker is mentioned in the credits and was selected for his experience, as he was just recognized in 2015 for 25 years of continuous realtor membership in Michigan. His suggestions, along with others, make this book a great resource to read and study for a strong foundation in Michigan real estate.
So, we think it matters a lot which school you attend and we believe you found it! Don’t let your enemy, Mr. Procrastination, hold you back another minute! Decide right now, act right now, sign up and schedule your time to devote to completing the course. Here is a link to get you there! http://www.realestateleadershipacademy.com/sales-persons-brokers/
Does the 40 Hour Course take exactly 40 Hours? Is there an online clock that keeps track of my actual time?
Answer: There is no clock that measures the actual time spent taking a course but each hour of approved credit will take approximately one hour of computer time to complete. Each student works at their own pace learning via the “Fluency and Mastery Method“. This is a proven learning method where students must show proficiency in each subject area of a given curriculum before moving on to the next section of study. This method has been proven effective for retaining the material and most importantly, helping you pass the state test on the first attempt.
How can I register for one of your courses?
Answer: You can register on our website. From the Home Page, you will first choose the category you are interested in pursuing by clicking the appropriate box. Next, click the state on the map or list that you would like to be licensed in.
How is the information delivered? Can I see an actual sample?
Answer: Each student works at their own pace learning via the tried and true “Fluency and Mastery Method” described above. Using this method each course is divided into lessons that take about 20-30 minutes on the average. Each lesson consists of text with multiple choice questions mixed in. The text is presented in one small, easy-to-understand sentence or paragraph at a time. After a few informative screens, you will answer a few questions about what you have read. As you progress through the lesson, the learning process keeps track of how you are doing on the questions. After all the information is presented, the computer will go back to the questions you missed or answered slowly and review them in random order. You’ll keep working on the lesson until you’ve answered all the questions correctly on two occasions. At that point, the lesson will be marked as complete on the main menu. You can pause a lesson at any time and a bookmark will save your place, so you don’t have to repeat work you’ve already done when you return to a lesson. Although there will be some variation in the delivery of certain course types, most courses are delivered using this method:

Why does the site ask for my full Social Security number? Is this necessary for registration?
